Mi A1 Duplicate contact issue resolved

Hello dear, 

You might face duplicate contacts issue in

Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone after the android Oreo or android pie update,

You just have to go to

STEP 1:  settings> users and accounts 

STEP 2: Then turn off sync for whatsapp and duo and any other app.

STEP 3:  Finally , go in phone app settings and clear the data of the Phone App

Here we go!!!!!

Now you have to wait for the contacts in the phone app will dissappear after some time but you have to open mobile data all the time.

It will take 3-4 days as Google updates the phone app cache in 3 to 4 days
